Rather than hiding the origin of materials, BORBALA highlights them, turning discarded textiles into high-impact design-objects rooted in a DIY ethos.

Sustainability is at the core of BORBALA’s process. With approximately 70% of materials sourced from pre-consumer textile waste and 25% from second-hand textiles, the brand is committed to circular design practices. They minimise virgin material usage and keep production volumes low to reduce environmental impact. Through hands-on workshops and community engagement, BORBALA also promotes awareness of plastic pollution and textile waste as part of their broader mission.
