With the extreme heatwaves reaching Europe in the past few weeks, we want to take all of our clothes off, nobody wants to get dressed in the morning when its already 30 celsius at 9 o’clock. Today we want to show you four outfits for different occasions (unfortunately life doesn’t stop, because of the heat, even though we would like to).
Alémais is absoluetly perfect for this kind of wheather. The australian brand was founded in 2021 by Lesleigh Jermanus. The 100% cotton pieces are the perfect choice for the summer, in 2024 75% used cotton was organic, and they funded the planting of 600.000 trees in 3 years.
Our first outfit is perfect for those who are stuck in the city, have to go to work or just for an evening stroll. We matched the Otis pants with the Scuba Cuffed tee, creating with the Sleepers flip-flops a casual dressed-down look, but stays chic with the Marc Jacobs Large Babe Canvas Tote Bag and our minimalist jewellery choice was the Marc Jacobs Daisy Stud earrings.
The next look was inspired by hot summer nights in a beach town. The Sara Short is a playful piece, paired with a Hunza G bathingsuit, that can also be used as a body. To dress this look up we chose for the shoes the Elli Mesh-Panelled Slingback Suede Pumps by About Arianne and with the MargeSherwood Soft Boston Bag it gives us the perfect 60s look, that we topped off with the Carmen Sunglasses by Tom Ford.
Tell us a more perfect way to survive this heat than a day by the pool? The Hunza G Hallie Bikini is perfectly paired the Mona Sarong Skirt. We cannot of course forget to cover our head in such heat and UV so we would obviously reach in our Tucan Tango Bag for our Patrizia Pepe baseball cap. To make the look absolute we could just throw on our Alohas flats and put in our Sirena earring by Labelled (maybe by the end of the day we also turn into mermaids, you never know).
The last look is to keep us cool in both ways. The Charlie Midi Dress is a 100% linen, not only looks fantastic but also feels in the warm wheater.
