The French brand was founded in 1961 by former Balenciaga designer André Courrèges, who was a modern visionary of his time and was famous for his futuristic designs, technological innovation, and use of unconventional materials such as metal, plastic, and PVC. He scandalously earned his credit and fame within the industry by inventing both the miniskirt and the super sexy, lacquer Courrèges go-go boots. After the brand’s remarkable comeback, Courrèges landed on our shelves straight from Paris.
