The London born English bred Hunza G has been around since 1984 originally known as Hunza, which then 30 years later reborn as Hunza G in the collaboration of Georgiana Huddart and the original director Peter Meadows. You might remember Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman wearing a crinkle swimsuit as an iconic top of the 80s, which has once again become super stylish. All the fabric sourcing, design and hand-made production is in England, starting in the Midlands then coming to reality in Central London. The brand is extremely eco-friendly, the production is aimed to be zero-waste running via a well thought through process placing a great emphasis on community, local fair trade and heritage. The One-Size concept is followed to be inclusive to women of all shapes and to lessen the chance of over-purchased sizing on a commercial level.
We love that we dont need to choose size, that it stay with us when we gain or loose weight or even when we have a lovely bump.Hunza G pieces embrace all body types in a loving way. Also Hunza G's production is very limited, which makes it a challenge to own one, we do love challenges.
Hunza G’s makes every effort to provide a sustainable choice for swimwear. Their production and manufacturing is all local in the UK. The fabric is knitted, dyed and processed in a mill in the Midlands which is then transported to Central London where each swimsuit is hand cut and sewn. With the excess fabric they produce small quantity models and scrunchies to maximize waste reduction. Their one size approach to swimwear is not only for being inclusize to women all shapes and sizes but to cut down on over-production. Hunza G Ltd is a carbon-neutral company.
