The 13 09 SR brand was founded in 2021 by the former Artistic Director of Dior, Italian-Swiss designer Serge Ruffieux, and is interestingly named after him by combining his initials and date of birth. The mission of 13 09 SR is to minimize waste by utilizing 100% already existing dead stock and other types of organic materials to design unique accessories. The brands' numbered editions are hybrid combos of handmade, comfortable but extreme compositions, midway sportswear and craftsmanship.
We have been searching for a long time for a shoe brand, which is incredibly cool, draws attention, complements a simple outfit, reflects the sense of style of its owner, yet is bearable to wear for an entire day. No wonder we haven’t found it until now, because 13 09 SR is a brand new label launched by no less than Serge Ruffieux, former designer of Dior. Thus, the design is impeccable, love at first sight; we crave for each and every piece of the collection.
