Launched in 2013 by Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, Coperni is a Paris-based ready-to-wear brand with the innovative influence of the cooperation of fashion and technology. Fun fact: the name is originated from Renaissance-era astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus to describe the mathematical essence of the brand since both designers are highly attached to the field of science by childhood, namely military schooling and growing up in families of doctors. The duo focuses on flexible, unisex and origami-like techniques, inspired by the designers’ prior experiences at famous fashion houses such as Balenciaga and Chanel.
