The young and upcoming Hungarian designer founded her brand in 2016 after studying art history in Vienna, learning the basics in a millinery in Budapest then living abroad in London learning the trade secrets from the world-famous Philip Treacy who is often responsible for creating stunning head-wear for the British Royal Family.
Zsofi was already into crafts as a child, creating artsy pieces together with her mother, then grew interest in fashion during her high school years. As soon as a relative recommended her a millinery in Budapest to visit and learn the basics she instantly fell in love with the art of hat making. Her style can be described as both classic yet contemporary with innovative ideas, everyone can find something to their own taste in the Vecsei collection.
During the design process she pays attention to make sure that the final piece is not only eye candy but still functional and comfortable to wear. Her eye for detail is impeccable, working with the best materials hand-picked abroad, finishing every piece with an exclusive metal brand logo and silky-smooth lining. Her advice to the every-day shopper when selecting the right hat is to make sure that they feel good wearing it.
