Summer will be here soon and the wedding season is almost upon us. Sometimes I fantasize about the wedding atmosphere, wittingly or unwittingly. I am certainly not exaggerating when I say that when we think of a sunny, late spring wedding, most of us immediately think of a glorious celebration in an Italian coastal city. But as long as we're just dreaming about it, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker made our dreams come true a few days ago as newlyweds.
In this beautiful May weather, the couple traveled to the coast of Italy where they celebrated their love in a fancy ceremony. The wedding was very gothic, with red and lots of flowers. For the ceremony, the bride wore a gothic white gown, but she didn't forget about being trendy either, and she was wearing a sexy mini dress underneath a unique floor-length veil of the Virgin Mary. Like her, the close family and many other guests were in a sexy gothic attire. There was no shortage of red, black, huge gems and of course lace.
For the after party, where they arrived on a luxury speedboat, the newlyweds changed into more comfortable clothes, but even then they still kept it to the theme. Travis wore a black monastic tunic, while Kourtney was dressed in a corseted black mini Dolce & Gabbana dress and covered her face with a black veil with blue trim.
This is absolutely DOLCE VITA! A beautiful ceremony in Portofino, Italy, over a weekend. I couldn't have dreamed of anything more perfect.
